Direct TV in the Clubhouse
At the September 2009 members meeting, the body approved a 1 year trial of
Direct TV. There will be 2 boxes to control both the TV’s in the Bar area and a
TV in the main meeting hall. Members will have access to the TV in the main hall
during normal club hours. The two units in the Bar will be available when there
are licensed bartenders actively managing the bar.
Funding for the service was provided by Troy Mews of Tyler Company and future
monthly payments will be funded by events hosted by Scott Buehler and others.
Come to your club and watch MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL starting on the first week of
the regular season.
The use and net cost of the Direct TV will be monitored over the year and if
there is enough interest and if we can cover the cost of the service, the body
will vote on TV’s future again next year.
