Sports Show 2023 Volunteers Needed
Sports Show March 9th - 12th, 2023
Volunteers are needed to set-up, staff and teardown our air rifle range for the 2023 Milwaukee Journal / Sentinel Sports Show!
This is a fun, warm and easy way to earn your work hours! See the show for free before or after you work the booth. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before, our experienced members will get you up to speed in no time!!
Daniel Boone’s booth draws the largest number of attendees and is a welcome attraction for the show. This is our chance to show the public that Daniel Boone Conservation League is family oriented fun and safety minded.
Set-up is Wednesday, March 8th
Thursday and Friday shifts: 10:00am to 4:30pm, and 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday shifts: 9:30am to 1:30pm, 1:00pm to 4:30pm, and 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Sunday shifts: 9:30am to 1:30pm, and 1:00pm to finish.
There are approximately 140 volunteer positions to be staffed throughout the event from set-up to teardown. note: State Fair Park charges for parking, volunteers will enter the show pavilion for free after check-in.

- Friday, March 11, 4pm - 8pm Need 7
- Saturday, March 12, 9:30am - 1:30pm Need 4
- Saturday, March 12, 1pm - 4:30pm Need 6
- Saturday, March 12, 4pm - 8pm Need 9
- Sunday, March 13, 9:30am - 1:30pm Need 9
- Sunday, March 13, 1pm - 5pm Teardown Need 7

Note: If you park on the State Fair Park Grounds, you will pay for parking, but will be admitted to the Spots Show for free.

Even with over 2000 DBCL members it can be difficult to get volunteer help! What can we do to get you involved?
Please volunteer for the Sports Show this spring. It’s indoors, easy, fun and a great way to earn your membership discount!
Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel Sports Show 2022

This event is one of the most rewarding family public relations activities we have with the southeastern Wisconsin community. This is also a great chance to show the public that the Daniel Boone Conservation League is fun and safety minded.
Our booth draws the largest number of attendees to the show and is a welcome attraction. There are 140 positions to staff in the 4 day show. PLEASE, no worries if this is your first time volunteering. Our experienced members will show you just how easy and fun this event is.
