Hunter Safety Education Begins August 8th

Potential Hunter Education Students,

Thank you for your interest in Hunter Education. The class is open for enrollment on the Wisconsin DNR’s Go Wild website (gowild.wi.gov).  You must sign up for this class through the DNR’s website.

In addition to all the class periods listed, an in-person registration to pay for ($10 cash) and receive course materials will be Sunday July 24th any time between 10:30 pm to 12:30 pm.  Registration should only take 15-minutes per student.

Class sessions are August 8, 11, 15, 18, 22 (6:00 pm to 8:35 pm,) Field Day is Saturday August 27th (7:30 am to 12:30 pm).

Each student must have their own DNR customer ID number (000-000-000) and have their own GoWild login/password prior signing up online.  You can set that up any time.  To sign up for class log into your students GoWild Account then, on the website navigate to "Manage Safety Education" select "Search for Class" and search for "Hunter" in "Washington County".

Please take the time to ensure you can attend ALL sessions listed for the class on the GoWild website.  We cover a lot of materials in a short time frame and work with the students on gun handling and operations every class. Absence from a class is discouraged.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jason Duehring.
