Temporary Caretaker

We are looking for members to fill-in as temporary caretakers.  The greatest need is to cover the regular caretakers' days off and vacations.  Its also helpful to have extra caretaker help on busy days, such as weekends.

Interested members will need a strong knowledge and understanding of DBCL Safety Procedures, and activities.  The shift is usually 4 to 8 hours, depending on circumstances and availability.

This position will earn credit for annual membership dues "work hours", other benefits include the possibility of reimbursement for RSO and CPR training.  The coordinator will ensure the volunteer is well informed and prepared for the role, and is usually available to assist by phone.

Duties will primarily be helping members know and follow the DBCL rules, and be a source of information for members needing assistance.  Other duties include checking for Membership Card, Chamber Flags, range safety, provide tours, manage equipment and targets, and some floor sweeping if the shift is slow.

For more information, contact Dan Hurda.

A complete list of benefits, qualifications, and duties is in the Tempoary Caretaker Duties and Responsibilities document.
