22 Rifle Silhouette League
The course of fire is the standard NRA Smallbore Silhouette Course. Each match consists of 40 rounds. Ten targets are fired upon from each of four distances.
Outdoor 3D Archery
32 station 3D archery course that provides archers of all skill levels a challenging yet enjoyable time. Distances range from 13 to 80 yards with various sized targets.
DBCL hosts a set of matches for AR-15 rifles each year. Shooting is at both stationary and moving targets. Almost any "AR" style or similar semi-automatic rifles are allowed.
Archers can use the indoor shooting range year-round. Indoor Archery League is very popular and runs from Oct through Mar. General shooting is free to Members.
The Appleseed Project is a nationwide program designed to take you from being a simple rifle owner to being a true rifleman.
Hand Gun Matches
DBCL hosts a series of handgun matches each year. Divisions include a both rimfire and centerfire for both revolvers and pistols.
Air Pistol and Rifle
12-week league consisting of two person teams. You do not have to be an expert marksman to participate. Scopes are permitted.
Leagues run year-round, all four seasons. Trap, Hunt & Cover, Skeet, and 5-stand. Also: individuals welcome, no need to join a league.
The Daniel Boone Conservation League hosts traditional Hunter Education classes periodically though out the year.
Vintage Military Rifle Match (VMRM)
DBCL runs a series of Vintage Military Rifle Matches each summer. Matches include both bolt and pre-1956 semi-auto rifles.
2 x 4s
The 2x4s are an informal group of members who get together on Wed mornings to shoot, play Sheepshead, drink coffee and tell tall tales of their hunting experiences.
Three Gun Steel Matches
DBCL hosts a series of Three Gun Steel Matches. Shooters can use pistol, rifle and shotgun or simply do the full course using only a .22lr rifle and/or pistol.
Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) provides participants in grades 12 and under with opportunity to showcase shooting skills and earn state and national recognition.
High Power Rifle Matches
A variety of matches including New Shooter Intro Match, Club fun/practice matches, a CMP as-Issued Military Rifle Match and the WI State 200 yard Championship Match.
Hunter Rifle Silhouette
Hunter Rifle Silhouette is a casual and fun shooting activity designed for the informal shooter. There are eight event dates. Attend as many or as few dates as you like.
Steel targets are set up at various distances, out to 200 meters, and shooters have two minutes to engage five targets and knock them over using multiple styles and calibers
The Tactical Challenge
This match will test your marksmanship skills as well as your time management ability. Shooting is done at various distances using varying firearms at various target types.
Wood Duck Nest Project
At Daniel Boone Conservation League, a project was started to install and maintain nest boxes on the DBCL property.
Promoting marksmanship and responsible use of firearms for youth, high school teams compete against each other. Nationally sanctioned youth shooting activity.
A Girl And A Gun
An organization whose events have been stepping stones for thousands of women into the shooting community and fostered their love of shooting with caring and qualified instructors.
A combination of Shooting and Skiing, this is a great way to get out and enjoy winter and firearms. You can use traditional cross-country skis, snowshoes, or snow boots.
Open for camping to area scout troops, a great experience for youth to enjoy activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and shooting. DBCL is a proud sponsor of Troop 110.
Fulfilling our fundamental purpose of preservation of our natural resources, we are active in the preservation of lands for outdoor recreation, and organizations that do so as well.
Economical reloading and recycling of used brass. Spent brass from the ranges is collected by several dedicated volunteers, then sorted out for sale to club members.
