DBCL Scholarship is back for 2024!

Do you know a student majoring in Conservation or Environmental Studies?

Daniel Boone Conservation League will be awarding 2 $2000 scholarships this year and needs you, the members, to refer some qualified candidates to apply.

Qualifications are as follows:

1. Student must have college senior status for the fall semester 2024.
2. Student must be majoring in conservation, environmental science or related field.
3. Candidates need to be full-time students in their major for two consecutive semesters with total of 30 or more credits in this field.
4. Student must be family member or referred by a current DBCL member. 
5. Student may not have received DBCL scholarship in a prior year.

Criteria for these awards will include academic performance, school involvement, character, leadership, employment history, community service and a personal essay.

Completed application packets must be postmarked by June 15, 2024 and received no later than June 25, 2024 to be considered for 2024 awards.

Daniel Boone had one request for, and received one completed application packet this year. The applicant had exceptional scholastic achievements as well as environmental activities.
